Canterbury Beaney Museum, Art Gallery and Library reopen on Wednesday, after restoration and refurbishment.
“The Beaney will celebrate its reopening with a fabulous weekend of activities and events between 8 and 9 September 2012.
Explore the new Beaney for the first time, join a highlights tour or stroll through the refurbished galleries and new library at your leisure. Visit the learning lab and create a piece of art inspired by sculptures and artefacts and enjoy the opening exhibition of drawings and sculptures by Henry Moore”.
